Empowerment Approach
With over 25 years of experience in educational, healthcare, and community settings, I have developed an Anti-Oppressive, Trauma-Informed, Strengths-Based Empowerment approach to Consulting. I work collaboratively online with Social Workers, Social Service Workers, and agency staff to add tools to one's toolkit to offer the best to service users through Individual and Group Clinical Consultation and Training.
Experience
I am a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) licensed in Ontario and British Columbia and an experienced Consultant. I have provided Clinical Consultation and Supervision to dozens of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have delivered hundreds of workshops, trainings, and talks for various organizations across Canada and worked internationally. I coordinated a program with BIPOC women that won First Prize for Excellence in Prevention, Promotion, and Protection of Health and Welfare from the Quebec Ministry of Health and was a nominee for the Paul Yuzyk award for multiculturalism.

I provide a supportive environment where workers can debrief; critically reflect; explore personal and professional values; manage transference and counter-transference; develop trauma-informed, anti-oppressive practices; learn skills for nervous system regulation; prevent burnout; and enhance capacity. Clinical Consulting
I provide Clinical Consulting to individual and agency Social Workers and Social Service Workers using an approach that combines anti-oppression, trauma-informed practice and a strengths-based approach to foster growth, prevent burnout, help unpack transference and counter-transference, clinically debrief, enhance capacity and confidence, build self-care and wellness, and more.
