About

My journey began as a grassroots community organizer many years ago. As a queer, multiracial South Asian femme and racialized settler on Turtle Island, I came to understand the deep connections between personal experiences and broader social issues. I dedicated my work to empowering women, the South Asian community, BIPOC communities, queer and trans liberation, migrant rights, anti-colonial efforts, and disability justice. Driven by a desire to better address the impacts of oppression and trauma in people’s lives, I completed a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) more than a decade ago. This decision was rooted in my belief that healing from trauma is an essential part of the journey toward our collective liberation. I am continually inspired by the resilience and creativity of the folks who come to see me for therapy.

My approach is grounded in a client-centred and collaborative process that respects your unique needs and lived experiences. I work electically and draw from

- Liberation Psychology and Community Psychology

- Somatics; Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; Yoga; and Mindfulness

- Narrative Therapy

- Internal Family Systems and Parts Work

- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy;

and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy*

to meet your needs.

I offer tools that can help process trauma, reconnect with your body, and build resilience. I am here to support you in finding peace, balance, and the freedom to thrive within a world that often feels challenging. Our work honours your path toward healing and empowerment. information.
