My offerings include gentle Hatha Yoga & Mindfulness for Individuals, Groups, & Organizations. Options include classes, workshops, and staff / organizational / group retreats. All asanas, mindfulness, & breathwork is done on the ground on a yoga mat, unless otherwise requested.
As a Yoga Teacher and Registered Social Worker-Psychotherapist (MSW, RSW), I understand how important the mind-body connection is to wellness. Yoga is one of the original somatics.
I am grateful for having had the opportunity to complete my Yoga Teacher Training with Dr. Madan Bali of Yoga Bliss and to have completed Lisa Danylchuk's Yoga for Trauma Training. I've participated in various classes, workshops, and conferences over the last 20 years and facilitated dozens of Yoga and Mindfulness groups at Post-Secondary Institutions; Hospitals; and in Community settings.
I believe that Yoga is for Everybody and Every Body is for Yoga. I strive to create an Anti-Oppressive, Trauma-Informed and inclusive space for all my yoga offerings. I welcome BIPOC; people who have been excluded due to casteism; and people of various sizes, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, genders, faiths, etc. Kindly let me know of any access needs ahead of time.
